1. WorkDent Platform Purpose & Scope

WorkDent is a specialized professional network and CAD workflow coordination platform connecting licensed dental clinics, commercial dental laboratories, freelance CAD/CAM technicians, and dental equipment manufacturers. WorkDent provides digital infrastructure, escrow financial mechanics, portfolio verification, and peer communication tools.

2. HIPAA, GDPR & Patient Data De-Identification

All users submitting intraoral scans, CBCT DICOM stacks, or photograph data certify that Protected Health Information (PHI) has either been de-identified in compliance with 45 CFR § 164.514 or is transmitted under valid Business Associate Agreements (BAA) with WorkDent Inc.

Security Standard: All 3D files are encrypted at rest using AES-256 and transmitted exclusively over TLS 1.3 tunnels. Storage buckets on Supabase utilize isolated tenant policies with strict access control.

3. WorkDent Milestone Escrow Architecture

To ensure zero counterparty risk:

Funding: When a clinic or lab awards a CAD case or job, 100% of the project fee is held in the WorkDent Escrow Vault.
Delivery: The assigned designer uploads the finished CAD construction files (.STL, .dentalProject, etc.).
Inspection Period: The client has seventy-two (72) hours to inspect margin integrity, occlusal clearance, and request adjustments.
Auto-Release: If no dispute or revision request is filed within 72 hours, the funds in escrow disburse automatically to the designer.

4. Clinical Quality Standards & Revisions

Every CAD technician on WorkDent is required to design within specified parameters:

Margin Integrity Must strictly adhere to the prep boundary specified without knife-edge chipping or overhangs.

Occlusal Clearance Must preserve the requested contact spacing (-0.05mm to +0.02mm) relative to opposing scans.

If a design fails clinical fit or seating within the original prescription parameters, the technician must provide unlimited revisions at no additional charge.

5. Intellectual Property & File Ownership

Upon release of escrow payment, all right, title, and interest in the resulting CAD design files (STLs, milling trajectories, and construction parameters) belong exclusively to the ordering clinic or dental laboratory. The technician retains no rights to reuse the patient-specific geometry.
